다음세대 선교를 위한 외국어 번역 기도문 21

오직 주님께 칭찬받는 우리 아이들이 되게 하소서

만물을 포용하시고 사랑하시는 하나님

다음 세대와 우리 아이들이

사람들과 화목하게 잘 소통하며 살길 원합니다.

그러나 때때로 오해를 받으며

사람들이 내뱉은 거친 말들로 인해

우리 아이들이 상처 입고 흔들리지 않기를 원합니다.

사람의 시야는 완전하지 못해, 오해하는 일이 잦고

상대 마음을 정확히 헤아리지 못하므로

늘 자기입장만 주장하는 연약한 존재임을

우리 아이들이 알게하시고

오히려 성령 안에서

세상 사람들의 연약함을

예수님이 우리를 사랑하신 것처럼

사랑하고 포용하는 넓은 마음을 주시옵소서.

주님,

또한 우리 아이들이 사람들과 화목하게 지내길 원합니다.

그러나 단호하게 거절하는 용기도 주시옵소서

사람들과 지내면서,

진리에 어긋나고, 말씀에 어긋나는 일을 강요받을 때

과감히 거절하는 단호함을 주시옵고

지나치게 사람에 대한 과도한 기대와

사람들에게 인기를 얻고자 하는 마음에

하지도 못할 일들을 욕심부리면서

사람들의 칭찬과 실망에 시험 들지 않게 하시옵소서.

오직 성령 안에서, 말씀 안에서 살아가면서

가장 먼저 주님께 인정받고

가장 먼저 주님께 칭찬받는

거룩한 하나님의 자녀로 살아가게 하소서.

May our children be praised by the Lord alone.

Heavenly Father,
Loving and gracious God, who embraces all creation, we lift up our children and the next generation to You. We pray that they may live in harmony with others and communicate with love and understanding.

Lord, protect them from being shaken by misunderstandings or harsh words spoken by others. Remind them that human vision is limited, hearts are often misunderstood, and people are weak and prone to self-interest. May our children recognize their own vulnerability, and instead, through the Spirit, be given hearts of grace—able to forgive, love, and embrace others just as Jesus has loved us.

Father, we also pray for courage: the courage to live peacefully with others, yet the boldness to firmly say no when confronted with sin, or when asked to act against Your Word. Shield them from being swayed by the desire for approval, popularity, or human praise, so that their hearts remain steadfast and free from temptation.

May our children live fully in the Spirit and in Your Word, seeking first Your approval above all, so that they may be recognized and commended by You alone as holy children of God.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
