Prayer for the next generation

다음세대 선교를 위한 외국어 번역 기도문 20

늘 성경 말씀을 묵상하고 실천하는 복된 하나님의 자녀가 되게 하소서.

세상 모든 것들의 주인이신 하나님,

우리 아이들과 다음 세대들이

비록 이 세상에서 살고 있다 하더라도

세상과 구별되고, 거룩한 주님의 자녀로 살아가길 원합니다.

세상 사람들이 어떻게 하면

‘돈 많이 벌고 성공할 수 있을까?’하면서

세상적인 지식만 배우느라 열정일 때에

우리 아이들은

'여호와를 경외하는 것이 지혜의 근본'이라는 말씀아래

갈고닦은 지적 능력을

때로는 성경 말씀을 묵상하며

하나님이 이 세상에 향하신 깊으신 뜻과

사랑과 진리를 깨닫는데 사용되게 하소서.

우리 아이들이 성경 말씀을 듣고 배우며

한 구절 한 구절 모두 암송하게 하시고

아멘, 아멘으로 받아들일 때에

성령 충만 속에서 깊은 통찰력과 깨달음을 주옵시고

하나님의 주신 지혜로

어떠한 문제들도 잘 해결되어

만사형통하는 복된 자녀들로 자라게 하소서.

성경 말씀을 듣기만 하는 것이 아니라

하나님 나라를 이루어가기 위해

말씀을 일상에서 즐겁게 실천하게 하시고

하나님을 사모하는 열정 안에서

요셉과 다니엘처럼 주님께 큰 사랑을 받으며

세상 사람들에게도 존경받는

거룩한 하나님의 자녀가 되게 하소서.

May our children be blessed children of God who always meditate on and practice the Word of the Lord.

Heavenly Father,
Sovereign Lord of all creation, we lift up our children and the next generation to You. Though they live in this world, may they live distinct and holy lives as Your children.

While the world pursues wealth, success, and worldly knowledge, may our children embrace the truth that “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Use the intellect You have given them to meditate on Your Word, to discern Your deep purposes, love, and truth in this world.

May they listen to Your Word, memorize every verse, and receive it with faith, saying “Amen” with conviction. Fill them with the Spirit, granting insight, understanding, and wisdom so that they may solve life’s challenges with discernment and flourish as blessed children.

Father, help them not only to hear Your Word but to joyfully put it into practice in daily life. May their hearts burn with a longing for You, and may they walk in the footsteps of Joseph and Daniel—beloved by You, honored by others, and living as holy children of God.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
