<나의 초안>

Hello, Lain.

It’s been 3 weeks after you came back to A**. Is everything getting back to normal? Now, with Thanksgiving just around the corner, the Hodges must be busy to host the Thanksgiving gathering this year as previous years. How is it going? Are you also expecting a big size of friends? We are sorry that we also miss this year’s.

Well, the reason I am contacting you at this point is that now I would like to discuss some brief ideas and plans about zoom meeting for Bible Studies. But before getting further, I would like to make sure that you agreed to have a Zoom Bible study session on a regular basis.

If I am not getting you wrong, I would like to get to some details about it.

Still not being sure of your situation and everything, I couldn’t insist any of the following. However, let me share what I am thinking of it, which is tentative and open to discussion with you any time about anything.

Why: 1. I would love to study Bible and get better understanding of it and to comply to the Bile in our lives 2. Most importantly, I would love to get your influence in my life an other my friends.

Who: anyone who is my English study group, which you and Milton attended and my acquaintances. I don’t want to include total strangers to this Bible study meeting & anyone who, you think, is suitable to this study from there like Soyoung?

3. When: Maybe Friday Evening in Korea Time / Friday Morning in A** Time

(like 9:00 P.M here / 7:00 A.M. there)

I hope we can have the very first meeting within December.

4. Where: Zoom or Teams ( I will give you the link later.)

5. What: Bible or any biblical books or whatever book you have recently studied in Ladies’ Bible study at E** Church.

6. How: You lead the session, I will be an assistant or sometimes language helper.

Again, these are all tentative and open to discussion any time and anything.

I hope things serve you right after the long distance.

I am looking forward to hearing back from you.

But no hurries.

Title: Thoughts on Starting a Zoom Bible Study

Hi Lain,

I hope this message finds you well! It’s hard to believe it’s already been three weeks since you returned to A**. Is everything settling back into routine? With Thanksgiving just around the corner, I imagine your family must be busy preparing to host the annual gathering. How are things coming along on your end? Are you expecting a large group of friends this year? We’re sad to miss it again this year, but we’ll be thinking of you all.

The reason I’m reaching out is to discuss an idea I’ve been considering—a regular Zoom Bible study. Before we go into details, I want to confirm if you’re interested and open to this. If I understood correctly from our earlier conversations, you were in favor of starting something like this, but I’d like to be sure.

Here’s what I have in mind so far, though everything is flexible and open to your input:

Why:

I want to deepen my understanding of the Bible and learn to apply its teachings in our daily lives. Most importantly, I value your insight and influence in my life and hope this could be a way to strengthen our connection, along with that of our friends.

Who:

Anyone from my English study group (which includes you and M**) and some of my acquaintances. I’d also love your input on inviting others you think might benefit, such as S.Y.

When:

Tentatively, Friday evenings in Korea (around 9:00 PM), which would be Friday mornings in A** (around 7:00 AM). If possible, I’d love to hold the first meeting sometime in December.

Where:

On Zoom or Microsoft Teams. I can provide the link closer to the date.

What:

We could study the Bible itself, a biblical book, or even one you’ve recently studied in your Ladies’ Bible study at E** Church.

How:

You would take the lead in facilitating the sessions, while I could assist or help with language, as needed.

Again, these are just preliminary ideas, and I’m open to discussing and adjusting any part of them.

I hope everything is going well for you after the move. I look forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have time—no rush!

Warm regards,
