53. Indefinite pronouns (부정 대명사)
대상이 분명하게 정해지지 않은 사람이나 사물을 가르쳐 주는 대명사로 “someone” “something”, “anyone “ 그리고 “anything”에 대해 지도해 보자.

A: “someone” “something”, “anyone “ or “anything”: They are the indefinite pronouns. “someone” “something”, “anyone “ 또는 “anything”을 부정 대명사라고 부른다.
They are used to refer in a general person or a general thing. 부정 대명사들은 일반적인 사람이나 사물을 언급할 때 사용되어진다.
Q: How do we use “someone” “something”, “anyone “ or “anything”? 어떻게 “someone” “something”, “anyone “ 또는 “anything”을 사용할 수 있을까?
A: When the sentence is an affirmative, we use “someone” or “something”. 긍정문이면 “someone” 이나 “something”을 사용한다.
When the sentence is a negative sentence, we use “anyone “ or “anything”. 부정문이면 “anyone” 이나 “anything”을 사용한다.
There is something in this box. 박스 안에 뭔가가 있다. There isn`t anything in this box. 박스 안에는 아무것도 없다.
There is someone on that bed. 침대에 누군가 있다. There isn`t anyone on that bed. 침대 위에는 아무도 없다.
Something and anything are used for the things. ‘something’과 ‘anything’은 물건을 가리킬 때 사용된다.
Someone and anyone are used for the person. ‘someone’과 ‘anyone’은 사람을 가리킬 때 사용된다.

“someone” “something”, “anyone “ or “anything”: They are the indefinite pronouns. “someone” 은 양쪽 검지 손가락만 펼친 후 왼쪽에서 오른쪽(또는 그 반대) 반원을 긋듯이 나선형으로 이동한다. “something”은 검지 손가락만 펼친 후 바깥쪽을 향해 두 검지를 교차해서 앞뒤로 왔다 갔다 해주면 된다. “anyone “은 알파벳 수화로 주먹 쥐고 특히 엄지가 검지에 밀착되게 한다.. “anything”은 ‘anyone’의 제스처 상태에서 앞뒤로 교차해서 서로 왔다 갔다 할 수 있도록 한다.
They are used to refer in a general person or a general thing. ‘used’은 한 손의 검지와 중지를 붙여 세워 알파벳 U를 만들어 준다. ‘refer’는 입 앞에서 한 손을 둥글게 원을 그어 말하는 듯한 느낌을 준다. ‘person’은 검지로 자신을 가리키고, ‘thing’은 양손의 검지를 펼쳐서 앞뒤로 교차해서 왔다 갔다 한다.
How do we use “someone” “something”, “anyone “ or “anything”?
When the sentence is an affirmative , we use “someone” or “something”. ‘sentence’ 양손 바닥이 마주 보이도록 몸통 넓이만큼 벌려 준 후 양손을 살짝 오르려 준다. ‘affirmative’는 엄지와 검지 손 끝을 만나게 하여 Okay사인이라는 느낌을 준다.
When the sentence is a negative sentence, we use “anyone “ or “anything”. ‘negative’ 부정문은 양손을 교차해서 X자를 만든다.

Something and anything are used for the things. ‘thing’은 양쪽 검지만 펼친 채 바깥쪽을 향해 앞뒤로 교차하면서 왔다 갔다 해준다.
