8. ‘Command sentence’ 명령문

A command sentence is asking someone to do something. 명령문은 남에게 뭔가를 하도록 요청할 때 쓰는 문장이다.

A command sentence stars with a ‘verb’. 명령문은 동사로 시작한다.

For example, Stand up.

Sit down. They are command sentences. 예를 들면, ‘일어서라’, ‘앉아라’는 명령문들이다.

To make a polite command sentence, add ‘please’ at the command sentence.

For example, Stand up, please.

Sit down, please. They are polite command sentences.

정중한 명령문을 만들려면 그 문장에 ‘please’를 넣어 주면 된다. 예로, 일어서 주세요.

앉아 주세요. 이들 문장들은 정중한 문장 들이다.
