#셋째 날
영어문장에 대한 거부감이 조금씩 사라진다
속도가 많이 더디다. 하지만 꾸준히 하는 게 중요하다는 것을 깨닫고 있다. 조금씩 영어에 익숙해지는 듯한 착각이 든다. 처음에는 영어문장을 읽는다는 것 자체가 매우 견디기 힘들었는데, 지금은 그래도 거부감은 사라졌다. 고무적이라고 생각한다.
영어에는 참 재미난 표현이 많다는 걸 새삼 느끼고 있다.
armpit(겨드랑이)의 영어 설명이 재미있다.

이번 페이지에서는 남자 주인공에 대한 찬사가 이어졌다. 잘 생긴 사람에 대한 여 주인공의 묘사가 주를 이뤘다. 해석하면서 좀 견디기 힘들었지만.... 버텼다. ㅎㅎㅎ
읽으면서 한 문장이 너무 긴 것도 있어서 힘들다 느꼈다. 역시 영어도 짧게 쓰는게 중요하다는 것을 느꼈다. 글은 영어든 한국어든 짧은 문장이 좋다.
잘생겼다란 표현을 참 매력적으로 표현한 문장도 발견했다.
: He had one of those faces where you were aware of the bones beneath the skin, as if even his bare skull would be attractive.
