"They don't know what the cause is," Biden said. "I told [Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg] to report directly to me when they find out." The exact cause doesn't seem to be known yet. There is no sign of cyber hacking either. They are still investigating, leaving all possibilities open. It is the first time since the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001 that aircraft takeoffs have been banned nationwide.
