I first started learning English in my early days. It might be vacation days after graduating from elementary school. It was almost 3 months. Usually, we first learn English during that period. My elder brother, who is 2 years older than me, taught me how to write and read the English alphabet. It's all that I had learned before entering secondary school that we learn English formally. I was the top classed student so I did English well in a secondary school even though what I learned is only alphabets from my elder brother. I got a very good grade in English. I was so proud of it. They say I do study English well. I only studied the textbook every time. But I got along with a friend who has a bad grade. We met when we play Dodgeball at a school student sports competition. She was the captain of her class and I was the captain of my class. She and I met frequently to coordinate opposition matches. She and I quickly became friends, and my grades went down while playing with her. My English also became poor.

영어 관사는 두 개 the와 a/an이 있다. 요 두 개는 특정 짓거나 특별한 명사에 쓰인다. a/an은 특별하지 않고 특정하지 않는 명사들을 수정하는데 쓰인다. the는 정관사라 하고 a/a은 부정관사라 한다.
