전업주부인 나는 영어를 잊지 않기 위해서 민병철 영어를 하고 있다. 거기 나오는 영작 과제를 하고 첨삭이 오면 이 곳에 기록하며 오래오래 보면서 기억하려고 애쓰고 있다. 오늘 첨삭한 글이 왔기에 또 올린다.
Today’s Topic
How often do you have class reunions? Where do you meet? When was the last time you had a class reunion? Do you enjoy them?
I have class reunions once a month. I meet my former classmates in Seoul. The last time I had a class reunion was the third Tuesday of April.
I enjoy reunions so much. The class reunions which I have every third Tuesday of the month are elementary school class reunions. We play golf as part of our reunion. It's more fun to play golf all day together thatn only eat. So I enjoy them so much.
I can remember thje face of my elementary classmates and they say they remember me when I was in elementary school. How wonderful it is to see the people who have the same memories in school and talk about many things when we were in school. Even though our physical appearance has changed because of age, we can find something in each other's face or body when we were in elementary school where we played together and studied altogether.
It's so wonderful to talk about the same place and same people from a long time ago. So we always say whenever we meet, "Let's meet forever! Take care of your health!"
마침 동창회를 하고 있는데 요런 주제가 나와서 난 신나게 써 내려갔다. 하하 그리고 또 따라온 특별 첨삭 멘트.

Don't be discouraged, though. As long as the person you're talking to or reading your written work understands what you say or write, it shows that there is progress in your learning. Keep practicing so you can keep improving.
그러나 실망은 말아라. 상대방은 다 알아들을 테니까. 하하 병 주고 약 주고. 그만큼 발전한 것이니 연습을 게을리 말아라. 오케이!!! 파이팅!!! 하하 첨삭 선생님께 이렇게 특별 멘트를 받는 것은 아주 귀한 일이기에 무슨 말씀이라도 오케이 오케이. 그리고 이어지는 자상한 지시사항.

오호... 패라 그래프를 만들어라. 그래야 나의 글이 일관되게 보여 다른 사람들이 읽고 이해하는 데 쉬울 것이라고 라.... 그러나 천만에 만만에 말씀이다. 딱 200자에서 끊어지는 여기 영작 과제에서 조금이라도 많이 글자를 써넣어야지. 패라 그래프 만들고 어쩌다 보면 200자 안에 쓰고픈 말을 어떻게 다 쓰라고. 하하 그러나 첨삭이 아닌 글을 쓸 때는 참고하겠습니다.

나의 생각과 아이디어를 단 한 패라 그래프에 길게 써 무겁게 만드는 것은 읽기도 힘들고 이해도 어렵게 한다. 오케이 오케이. 단락을 나눠서 쓰는 버릇을 들이겠습니다~
2. Please remember to always be careful when spelling words. If you're unsure of the correct spelling of a word, you can always look at a dictionary to check it.
항상 단어가 불안할 때는 꼭 사전을 찾아봐라. 하하 요걸 알지만 어떤 때는 귀찮기도 하고 바쁘기도 하고 이렇게 보내고 나면 선생님께서 어련히 알아 잘 고쳐주시니까 그냥 생각나는 대로 막 써 보내곤 했는데 안 되겠다. 이제부턴 나 스스로 먼저 사전을 찾아 확실한 단어를 쓰도록 해야겠다. 옛쏠!!!
