나는 민병철 영어를 한다. 영어는 잊고 싶지 않고 그리 많은 돈과 시간은 투자하고 싶지 않고 거기 딱 맞는 게 바로바로 이 전화영어 같다. 제일 싼 시간대에 일주 두 번 꼭 십 분씩. 하하 그렇게 외국인과 직접 통화를 하며 근근이 영어를 잊지 않으려 살짝 노력하고 있다. 오늘 나의 첨삭을 해준 분은 이 레벨에서 매우 잘한다는 칭찬을 했다. 그 말을 들으니 좀 미안하다. 사실 나는 처음 레벨 7에서 시작했는데 계속하다 보니 레벨 12까지 갔다. 그러나 12가 되니 글자도 깨알만 하고 너무 길고 일단 재미가 없다. 난 그저 영어를 잊지 않고 해외여행 가서 현지인들과 이야기하고픈 정도인데 말이다. 그래서 과감히 다시 레벨 7로 내려왔다. 그러다 보니 문장도 간단하고 글씨도 큼지막하고 글도 얼마 안 되고 그야말로 띵호와다. 룰루랄라 슬슬 노는 듯 즐겁게 해도 한 주에 두 번은 거뜬히 해낼 수 있다. 오늘 거의 수정이 하나도 없는 첨삭, 그뿐인가 격한 칭찬이 딸려왔다. 하하 기분이 매우 좋다. 너무 흥분해 서론이 길다. 하하 실제는 레벨 12인데 7로 내려와 쓴 건데 그건 그 첨삭인이 모를 테니까 괜히 미안하다. 마치 내가 사기 친 거 같아서. 그러나 어떡하랴. 길고 깨알 같은 장문은 난 싫으니 어쩌겠는가. 쉬운 게 좋다. 쉬운 걸로 잊지 않을 만큼만. 그래. 잘했어. 엣 헴.

No, there isn't a lot of crime where I live. What kind of crime? If I have to say it, then I'll tell you what I see on the newspaper because there isn't a lot of crime where I live. I see many car accidents, which occur because of drunken drivers, on the newspaper. So nowadays the rule was changed to be so strong to check out drunken drivers who drank even a little alcohol. So nowadays my friends never drink even only one cup if he had to drive after playing golf. Before they usually drink one glass of beer after playing golf, saying "How wonderful it is to drink one glass of beer just after playing golf." We have enjoyed it so much, but now we don't because of the changed very strong rule for drivers. We know how dangerous it is to drive after drink beer even a little. I think it is good to think not to drink at all before driving. It's a good mood not to drink at all before driving. If they drink, they call a replacement driver who drives his car and brings him home safely. It's a very good mood.
