국제 학교에서 학비 무료 독일 대학, 영어로 유학 가기

최근 경제적으로 어려워지고 취업이 점점 더 힘들어지자 국내 국제 학교에서 미국 대학으로 가지 않고, 곧바로 독일 대학교로 진학을 하고자 하는 학생들이 많아졌다. 독일 대학은 학비가 없거나 저렴하고 영어로 전공을 배우며, 졸업 후 취업이 용이하다는 장점이 있다. 그렇다면 국내 국제 학교에서 독일 대학교로 학비 없이, 영어로 가려면 어떻게 할 것인가. 이렇게 국내 국제 학교에서 독일 대학으로 지원하려는 학생들은 어떻게 하면 될까?
■ 독일 대학 곧바로 지원하기
국제 학교 학생이라고 모두 독일 대학에 갈 수 있는 것은 아니다. 일정한 지원 조건이 되어야 한다. 국내 국제 학교 학생들이 미국 대학에 가는 데는 제한이 없다. 그러나 독일은 까다롭다. 독일 대학에 지원을 하려면 독일이 인증하는 고등학교를 분명하고도 확실하게 4년 동안 다녀야 한다. 4년이 안 되면 지원 자격이 없다. 확실하게 9학년부터 12학년까지 다녀야 한다. 하지만 독일이 인증하지 않은 학교를 다녔다 하더라도 미국 대학도 지원할 수 없는 것은 아니다.

위의 기관으로부터 인증을 받은 국제 학교 출신 국제 학교 학생들은 학교에서 일정 AP 과목을 이수하고 5월에 보는 시험에서 과목 군별 1과목씩 총 4과목을 최소 3점 이상 획득하면 된다. 수학, 의학, 공학, 자연과학 계열과 인문, 법, 사회, 경제 계열 지원 학생들의 AP 시험 과목은 다르다. 따라서 이를 꼼꼼하게 점검을 해야 한다. 더 자세한 것은 미래교육연구소의 개별 상담을 통해서 제공된다.
