Apple CEO Tim Cook said the company is seeing inflationary pressure in an interview with CNBC’s Julia Boorstin on Thursday as the company reported nearly $124 billion in sales in its December quarter.
애플의 최고경영자(CEO) 팀 쿡은 목요일 진행된(현지시간 27일) CNBC 줄리아 부스틴과의 인터뷰에서 지난 12월 분기에서 영업 이익 약 1,240억 달러(우리돈 약 150조원)을 기록했다면서도 인플레이션 압력을 느끼고 있다고 밝혔다.
“We try to price our products for the value that we deliver and we are seeing inflationary pressure, I think everybody’s seeing inflationary pressure. There’s no two ways about that" Cook said.
쿡은 "우리는 우리의 제품의 가치에 따라 가격을 측정하려고 노력하고 있고, 인플레이션 압력을 체감하고 있다"면서 "내 생각에는 모든 사람이 인플레이션 압박을 실감하고 있으며, 그건 저명한 사실"이라고 말했다.
The observation from the head of the country’s most valuable company comes as the Biden administration and Federal Reserve grapple with questions about how to tame elevated inflation and whether to raise interest rates.
