그렇다. 나는 이제 누군가에게 "작가님" 이다.

right. now im called "photographer"

나의 호칭은 이제껏. 깻잎, 미치괭이, 똘아이, 경식씨, 경식군, 대리님, 선임님, 책임님, 팀장님, 토토이?

my title was, perilla leaf, psycho, frick, 경식 see, 경식Goon(japanese),assistant manager, senior researcher, team leader, toto e?

등이다. 거기에 이제 작가라는 조금 간지러우면서도 어색한 호칭이 추가되었다.

때론 어느 고객님은 기사님 이라고 하고 머쓱한듯 내눈치를 보고는 "아니아니 작가님이~" 라고 정정하곤 하는

데. 나는 기사도 나쁘지 않다. 어느새 우리나라 문화에서 기사라는 업을 가진 직종이 천대받고 있나보다.

sometimes one of my customers called me "technician" and soon called again like "nono i it means "photogarpher" after she feel something wierd.

택배기사, 버스기사, 포크레인기사, 김기사, 그러고 보니 어감이 좋지 만은 않다. 그럼 작가는?

parcel delivery, Bus driver, pork crane driver, just driver. right it has no good Nuance and feel uncomfortable, so How about "creator"?

왠지 예술을 하는 분들에게 작가의 칭호가 붙어지곤 한다. 은퇴한 아저씨가 카메라들고 사진을 찍으러 다시셔도 작가님, 평생 책 한권 내시고 쭉 쉬고 계시는 할머니도 작가님, 큰 캔버스에 일필휘지의 솜씨로 선을 쭉 긋고 만족해하시며 개인전을 내시는 분들도 작가님이시다. 왠지 돈은 안되는 사람들 같은데?

i don't know why some artist gets a title as creator. if one guy retired and he like to take photo somtime. we can call him creator. A grandmom published a book in her whole life time and didn't do anything. we can call it. held a gorgerse exhibition with painting has only one caligraphy line. we call him creator. i think these job's can't make a huge money. isn't it?

기사-[명사] 관청이나 회사에서 전문 지식이 필요한 특별한 기술 업무를 맡아보는 사람.

기사의 정의를 보면 왠지 예술하시는 분들 보다 훨씬 중요한 일을 하고 있는 것 같은데 왜 어감이 이리 다르게 자리 잡혔을까. 

define of technition said it's more important job better then artist. but why people get it different in korea culture?

호주에 가면 허리춤에 치렁치렁 연장들을 달고, 형광색 쪼끼를 입고 당당하게 미술관에 들어가는 노동자들을 볼수 있다. 

there's people who go to the art museum with work wear and tools proudly

한국의 어느 고풍스러운 전시를 하는 전시장에서 가능한 일일까? 가능하다 한들 몇이나 고된 노동을 마치고 예술을 탐닉하러 미술관을 찾겠는가?

Korean Museum can allowed them? if its possible how many wokers want to figure it out about art after hard labour?

호주의 노동자들을 보는 호주사회의 시선과 그 당사자의 의식주 외의 문화활동에 목말라하는 욕구가 그저 부러울 뿐이다. 

I envy about how Australia people treat workers and wokers need a art, culture not only food, clothing, and shelter.

호주생활 하면서 만났던 서울대 출신의 형님은 지금 호주에서 아스팔트를 깔고 있다. 그것도 너무 행복하게. 

One of my friend who graduated Seoul university(it's one of finest university in Korea) doing labour job in Australia with full filled happiness

아이들이 잔디에서 뛰어놀수 있어서 호주가 좋다고. 그리고 본인의 일도 만족한다. 

He said he likes life in Australia because his child can play on the green grass. and He also satisfied his job.

45분 노동후 15분의 철저한 휴식과 5시퇴근후 가족과의 시간. 그외의 추가 노동에는 그에 합당한 추가 수당까지 보장되는. 한국 노가다하시는 분들에게는 다소 꿈같은 컨디션 아닌가? 

15min breke after every 45min work strictly. extra money after extra work naturally. is it possible condition in Korea industry scene

사진 기사로 불리우던 사진 작가로 불리우던 나의 셔터는 정성껏 눌려지고 찍힌 사진들은 정성껏 보정된다. 내 스스로 나를 어떻게 불려 지고 싶나 묻는다면...

Creator? Woker? customer call me what ever. I release a shoot button and editting photo carefully.if you ask me which title you prefer

작가가 좋네...
