How are you? I hope your studying is going well! I know how you feel. In the US, students also have to take college entrance tests now. I am lucky- I took my tests early (last spring) and somehow I did well. Yay! Unfortunately, to be accepted into a good university, students also must have good marks in all their classes. My marks are not so good, because I'm very lazy! ^^;;
So now I have to work. Aaa! Not fair! Hehe...
But I am sure you will do very well on your test. Just don't get too nervous, and you'll do fine! You don't have to aplogize for writing late. It's totally OK!
Right now, I'm on vacation with my family. We are in Canada, at the “Stratford Theater Festival!” There are lots of excellent plays here. We have only seen 2 so far- a musical from the 1920's, called “Anything goes.” and a play by the famous author William Shakespeare, “King Henry the 8th”(boring). Tonight we well see another Shakespeare play called “Macbeth” (one of my favorites), and an English play called “Noises OFF.” which is hilarious!
The food and shopping here are very good too. And it's pretty. There is a river with lots of swans and ducks, and tomorrow we will go canoeing (boating) on the river! You can tell I'm very happy to be here.
Yes, I know, the war in Iraq is horrible. I'm very angry at George W. Bush, the President of my country, for starting it. I think he had bad reasons for going to war. He's not a good president! He gives money to the rich people and takes it away from poor people, and also, he thinks God is on his side. He thinks he was chosen by God to lead America, and then he does such horrible things that no Christian would do! I am not a Christian, but it still makes me very angry. I have a cousin in the army, and he is in Iraq right now. It's very painful to see this happening to the country that I love! Many other Americans feel the same way as I do. This November, there will be an election, and hopefully we will have a new president. People from America, Korea, Iraq, everywhere, are getting hurt.
Sorry for talking so long about it, but it's a topic that I care very much about.
Your pictures are very pretty! I do not have any photos to send you now, because they are at home and I'm in Canada I'll send some in my next letter. I drew a cheerleader for you! Good luck studynig! ^-^
I have to stop writing now. I have to read some books for school (school starts in 10 days!) and then go to lunch with my brother Louie. So bye for now! “再见”! (also I have to study Chinese)

하지만 나는 네가 시험을 매우 잘 볼 것이라고 확신해. 너무 긴장하지 마, 그러면 잘 될 거야! 너는 편지를 늦게 쓰는 것에 대해 사과할 필요가 없어. 완전히 괜찮아!
지금, 나는 가족과 함께 휴가 중이야. 우리는 캐나다에 있어, "스트랫퍼드 연극제"에! 이곳에는 훌륭한 연극들이 많이 있어. 우리는 지금까지 단 두 편밖에 보지 못했어. 1920년대의 "다 잘될거야"라고 불리는 뮤지컬과 유명한 작가 윌리엄 셰익스피어의 연극 " 헨리 8세"를 보았어. 오늘밤 우리는 또 다른 셰익스피어 연극 "맥베스"(내가 가장 좋아하는 연극 중 하나)와 "노이즈 오프"라고 불리는 영어 연극을 보게 되는데, 이것은 정말 웃기는 일이야!
이곳의 음식과 쇼핑도 매우 좋아. 그리고 예뻐. 백조와 오리가 많은 강이 있는데, 내일은 강에 카누를 타러 가! 내가 여기 와서 정말 기쁘다는 걸 알 수 있을 거야.
그래, 나도 알아, 이라크에서의 전쟁은 끔찍해. 나는 우리 나라의 대통령인 조지 부시에게 그것을 시작한 것에 대해 매우 화가 나. 나는 그가 전쟁을 하는 건 나쁜 이유가 있었다고 생각해. 그는 좋은 대통령이 아니야! 그는 부자들에게 돈을 주고 가난한 사람들에게서 돈을 빼앗고, 또한 신은 자기 편이라고 생각해. 그는 그가 미국을 이끌기 위해 하느님에 의해 선택되었다고 생각하고, 그는 어떤 기독교도 하지 못할 그런 끔찍한 일들을 해! 나는 기독교인은 아니지만, 그것은 여전히 나를 매우 화나게 해. 나는 군대에 사촌이 있고, 그는 지금 이라크에 있어. 내가 사랑하는 나라에 이런 일이 일어나는 것을 보는 것은 매우 고통스러운 일이야! 다른 많은 미국인들은 나와 같은 방식으로 느껴. 올 11월에 선거가 있을 것이고, 희망컨대 우리는 새로운 대통령을 갖게 되길 바라. 미국, 한국, 이라크, 어느 곳에서나 사람들이 다치고 있어. 이라크 전쟁에 대해 너무 오래 이야기해서 미안하지만, 이것은 내가 매우 신경쓰는 주제야.
