Moorooduc Estate는 기후변화에 대응하여 지속적인 헌신과 세부 사항에 대한 관심을 갖고, 포도나무의 열매를 유리에 담기 위해 재배된 장소와 품종을 가장 정직하고 맛있게 반영하기 위해 노력하는 와이너리라고 소개합니다.
와이너리로 가는 길은 아담하고 예쁜 정원이 꾸며져 있어 구경하는데 시간 가는 줄 모를 정도였습니다.
곳곳이 예쁜 꽃과 아기자기한 소품이 있어서 한참을 산책하다가 들어간 Moorooduc Estate.

겨울이라곤 믿기지 않는 호주의 초록.
내부에 들어가니 긴 테이블이 중앙에 배치되어있어 시음할 수 있는 공간이 되고, 한쪽 벽면에는 판매하고 있는 와인이 보입니다.

남편의 시음 노트.
1. Chardonnay 2019
Color : Pale yellow with slight green hue
Nose : Fresh nose with lemon, grapefruit and slight toast.
Palate : Fresh and nice acidity. Citrus, peach, some salt and floral palate.
2. Robinson Vinyard Chardonnay 2019
Color : Pale gold
Nose : Citrus, floral, vanilla and some grapefruit.
Palate : Fresh and bright with citrus, peach, mineral and very soft refined palate.
3. Mcintyre Vinyard Chardonnay 2019
Color : Pale gold
Nose : Savoury with notes of citrus, slight oak, some nuts and little vanilla.
Palate : Nicely balanced acidity with creamy apple, pear, citrus, some spices and toast. Dry with lingering finish.
4. Pinot Noir 2018
Color : Mid Garnet
Nose : Fresh red cherry, raspberry and slightly floral notes.
Palate : Fruity with red berries and slight white pepper. Nice soft tannin and long tangy finish.
5. Robinson Vinyard Pinot Noir 2020
Color : Bright pale garnet.
Nose : Rose petals, red cherry and hint of spices.
Palate : Refined and restrained with red cherries, strawberry and some mushroom on the palate. Nice and silky tannins leaving long lingering fresh finish.
6. Mcintyre Vinyard Pinot Noir 2020
Color : Pale garnet with slight purple hue
Nose : Expressive dark cherry, violet, rose petals, mushroom and some spices.
Palate : Silky tannin and bright acidity with cherry, strawberry notes. Long lingering nice finish.
7. Garden Vinyard Pinot Noir 2020
Color : Pale garnet
Nose : Aromas of sweet cherry, dried herbs, wet leafy notes.
Palate : Vibrant with red cherry, strawberry, savoury herbal and earthy. Fresh and nicely balanced finish.
8. Mcintyre Vinyard Shiraz 2018
Color : Deep purple
Nose : Plum, cherry, pepper and slightly earthy notes.
Palate : Full of blackberry, plum fruits, slight chocolate and earthy notes. Nice grippy tannin with tangy acidity. Long fruity finish.
