지난달 마스턴투자운용은 서울 서초구 소재 본사에서 대학생 대상 '커리어 멘토링(Career Mentoring)'을 진행했습니다.

마스턴투자운용 브랜드전략팀이 기획한 이번 행사는 대학생 대상 직무, 진로, 취업준비 관련 멘토링 프로그램의 성격을 갖는데요. 단순한 오피스 견학이 아닌 현직자와 직접 대화할 수 있는 시간을 마련하는 데 초점을 두었습니다.

특히 대체투자 분야 관련한 취업 정보가 부족한 현실을 감안해 학생들에게 보다 실질적인 조언을 해줄 수 있는 실무자급 직원들을 멘토로 섭외하였습니다. 또한 멘티들의 연령대를 고려해 사원에서 대리급으로 멘토진을 구성하였답니다!

먼저 마스턴투자운용 신입 공채 1기인 국내부문 투자개발1본부 서지훈 주임이 대학생들의 취업 궁금증 해결에 발 벗고 나섰습니다. 상대적으로 업계 입성 시점이 가장 최근이다 보니, 취업준비 방법에 대한 생생한 질문과 답변이 활발하게 오고 갔답니다.

또한 마스턴투자운용의 리서치 조직인 R&S(Research&Strategy)실의 김바다 대리, PR과 브랜딩을 맡고 있는 브랜드전략팀의 백동윤 대리, HR조직인 인사팀의 김현승 대리가 각 직무의 특성과 커리어 개발 방법에 대해 소상하게 설명하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 이번 '커리어 멘토링'을 기획한 마스턴투자운용 브랜드전략팀 김민석 팀장은 모더레이터 역할을 수행했습니다.

이길의 마스턴투자운용 경영부문 부사장은 "대학생들에게 양질의 취업 정보를 제공하는 것은 ESG 측면에서도 유의미한 일"이라며 "이번에 진행한 '커리어 멘토링'이 학생들이 추후 진로의 방향을 설정하는 데 도움이 되길 바란다"라고 말했습니다.

Mastern Investment Management conducted "Career Mentoring" for college students at its headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul. The event, organized by Mastern Investment Management's brand strategy team, is a mentoring program related to career and job preparation for college students.

The focus was not on a simple office tour but on providing time to talk directly to incumbent people. Since providing high-quality employment information to college students is also meaningful in ESG, Mastern Investment Management will continue communicating more actively with Generation Z.

▶ We want to introduce HyunSeung Kim(김현승), assistant manager of the HR Team of Mastern Investment Management, who served as a mentor at the time. He gave a lecture on HR jobs and recruitment trends. HyunSeung Kim has experienced all HR tasks, such as talent acquisition at Continental, and joined Mastern Investment Management in June last year.

▶Kim Bada(김바다), assistant manager of the Strategy & Research Team at the Research & Strategy Planning Division, participated as a mentor and had time to explain to students on research career paths in the alternative investment sector. After gaining experience in Daishin Securities and S&I Corporation, she joined at Mastern Investment Management Research & Strategy Planning Division in 2020.

▶Dongyoon Baek(백동윤), assistant manager of the Brand Strategy Team, participated as a mentor and introduced the latest branding and digital marketing solutions in B2B and financial markets. He started his career at LG Innotek and joined at Mastern Investment Management Brand Strategy Team in 2022.
