Key to Happiness

by 김용년

Happiness comes when you love.

Happiness increases when shared, and unhappiness decreases when shared. Pleasure multiplies when shared, and pain diminishes when shared. The fewer thoughts people have, the closer they are to happiness, and the more thoughts they have, the closer they are to unhappiness. Happiness begins when you focus on the present, and unhappiness begins when you obsess over the past or future.

Live with love in your heart. If you embrace love, the world looks happy; if you harbor hatred, the world looks miserable. If you live with a loving heart, you can enjoy the joy of happiness.

Stop comparing yourself to others. Don't try to compare and find happiness outside, but find it within your heart. Happiness is something you can feel with your heart in the present moment. Focus only on the present, not on the past or the future.

When was the happiest moment, the most touching moment, and the moment when you laughed out loud? When was the last time your loved one was overjoyed, moved, and smiled broadly? Close your eyes and pray for the happiness of your loved ones. The moment you pray for the happiness of your loved ones, you become the first to be happy.

Love yourself. Love your work, love your loved ones. And love everything in this world. Because everything in this world is connected to you. Loving everything is the same as loving yourself completely. Happiness is fulfilled when you fully love yourself. When you love yourself completely, happiness permeates your whole body and mind.

I wish you love and a happy life.
