인생과 사람이 하는 일에 완벽한 준비란 없습니다. 인생은 정답이 없는 여행이자 모험입니다. 우리는 인생이라는 모험을 통해 성공과 실패를 경험해야 합니다. 경험을 통해 실력을 키우고, 다양한 감정을 느끼며 영혼이 성숙해지는 과정이 인생입니다. 물론 일을 추진하기 전에 최대한 심사숙고(深思熟考) 해야 합니다. 하지만 100% 확신이 설 때까지 기다리는 건 시도하지 않겠다는 것과 같습니다. 100% 확신이 설 때까지 기다리다가는 기회를 놓치기 쉽습니다. 자신이 본 기회는 자기 눈에만 보이는 것이 아니라, 남들도 그 기회를 노리고 있기 때문입니다.
어느 정도 준비가 되었다면 일단 시작하는 게 좋습니다. 시작하다가 허점이 보이면 수정하고 보완하면서 문제를 해결해 나가는 것도 하나의 방법입니다. 진행 과정에서 실수와 힘든 고난을 경험할 수도 있겠지만, 어려움 속에서 배우고 성장하면, 실수와 역경도 성공을 위한 좋은 교훈이 됩니다.
살다 보면 깊이 생각을 했음에도 불구하고, 중요한 선택을 하기 전에 망설여지는 경우가 있습니다. 최선을 다해 판단하고 결정했다면, 자신의 선택을 믿고 일을 추진해야 합니다. 그때는 무소의 뿔처럼 뒤도 돌아보지 말고 선택한 길을 걸어가야 합니다. 시간을 끌며 시기를 놓치기 말고, 다가온 기회가 사라지기 전에 시작해야 합니다. 이 세상에 완벽한 준비란 없습니다. 완벽해지도록 노력하는 열정이 있을 뿐입니다. 좋은 기회를 발견하고 최선을 다해 준비했다면, 자신을 믿고 용감하게 도전해야 합니다.
