성과를 창출할 수 있도록 일을 추진하세요. 일을 시작할 때 남들과 너무 비교하지 마세요. 조바심이 날 수도 있고, 기가 죽어 시작을 못 할 수도 있습니다. 오직 자신이 수립한 목표와 비교하며 일을 추진해야 합니다. 남들과 비교해서 앞서 나가려 생각하면, 방향을 잃고 단기적인 성과에 치중하기 쉽습니다. 장기적인 관점에서 큰 성과를 만들어 내는 것이 더 중요합니다.
그리고 일을 할 때는 동료들과 협력할 줄 알아야 합니다. 모르는 건 체면을 따지지 말고 적극적으로 물어볼 수 있어야 합니다. 문제가 생겼을 때 적절한 질문을 하면서 배우고, 동료들과 함께 해결책을 찾는 것도 중요한 능력입니다. 실속 없이 형식에 치중하기보다는, 실질적인 성과를 창출할 수 있도록 일을 추진하는 것에 신경을 써야 합니다.
일을 추진하다 보면 자신의 의견에 토를 달고 반대하는 사람이 생깁니다. 반대의견에 감정적으로 대응하며 무조건 반대하거나, 부정적으로 반대하는 사람을 미워하기보다는, 반대의견을 잘 분석하여 자신이 미처 보지 못한 단점을 개선할 수 있도록 노력해야 합니다. 편견 없이 열린 마음으로 일을 추진해야, 실수를 줄이고 성공 확률을 높일 수 있습니다.
그리고 모든 일을 자신이 하려고 욕심내면 안 됩니다. 사람들이 자신의 강점을 살려 일을 할 수 있도록 적절히 업무를 배분해야 합니다. 모든 일에 자신이 다 참견하고 조정하려 들면, 다른 사람들은 수동적인 자세로 시키는 일만 하게 되고 의욕이 떨어집니다. 사람들이 각자 맡은 분야에서 책임지고 일을 할 수 있도록 믿고 기다려주는 것도 리더의 중요한 능력입니다. 효율적으로 일을 추진하면서 큰 성과를 내고, 멋지게 성공하시길 기원합니다.

If you compare, you may become impatient, or you may become discouraged and not be able to start. You should only pursue your work by comparing it to the goals you have set. If you think about getting ahead by comparing yourself to others, it's easy to lose direction and focus on short-term results. It is more important to achieve great results from a long-term perspective.
When working, you must be able to cooperate with your colleagues. You should be able to ask questions proactively without worrying about what you don't know. Learning by asking appropriate questions when a problem arises and finding solutions together with colleagues are also important skills. Rather than focusing on worthless formalities, you should focus on getting things done to produce real results.
As you work, you will encounter people who criticize and oppose your opinions. Rather than reacting emotionally to opposing opinions and unconditionally opposing them, or hating those who negatively oppose them, you should analyze opposing opinions well and try to improve your shortcomings that you were unaware of. You can reduce mistakes and increase your chances of success by working with an open mind and without prejudice.
And you shouldn't try to do everything yourself. Work must be distributed appropriately so that people can work to their strengths. If you try to intervene and control everything, other people will just do what they are told to do in a passive manner and their motivation will decrease. Another important ability of a leader is to trust and wait for people to take responsibility for their work in their respective fields.
