지식(知識)은 알고 있는 걸 먼저 말하라고 유혹하지만, 지혜(知慧)는 모르고 있는 걸 먼저 들으라고 조언합니다. 지혜로운 사람은 상대의 말을 경청하고 배우려 하지만, 어리석은 사람은 “나도 그 정도는 알고 있다.”라는 생각에 상대의 말을 듣지 않고 배우려 하지 않습니다. 어리석은 사람은 자신의 자만심 때문에 새로운 정보가 들어갈 틈이 없습니다. 그러나 지혜로운 사람은 겸손한 마음으로 상대의 이야기에 귀를 기울여 더욱 현명한 사람으로 성장합니다.
