[애니메이션 추천] <보스 베이비 (2017)>

고대했던 <보스 베이비>를 드디어 봤다. 역시 기대 이상이다. 드림웍스 애니메이션은 날 배신하지 않는다.

슈렉, 트롤, 마다가스카르, 쿵후판다 등.

<보스베이비 2>는 2021년 예정이다.

<보스 베이비> 원작은 말라 프라지 Marla Frazee 가 쓴 어린이책(2010)이 원작이다. 기회가 되면 원작도 꼭 읽어보고 싶다. 내가 쓰고 싶은 동화도 이런 내용이다. 정말 많이 읽고 많이 생각해야겠다. 이런 기발한 이야기를 쓰는 작가들이 참 부럽다.

<보스 베이비>는 오늘날의 실태를 그대로 반영하고 있다. 출산율은 낮아지고 반려동물을 키우는 가족들이 늘어나고 있다. 하지만 사랑의 양은 유한 자원이 아니라는 것이 이 동화의 메시지다.

동생이 생기는 아이들이 보면 이해를 할까?

어린이보다는 어른을 위한 애니메이션 같다.

영화에서 중요한 역할을 하는 Blackbird (비틀스) 노래 가사로 마무리하겠다.
