1. 헤밍웨이 문체로 번역하기

헤밍웨이의 소설을 많이 읽지 않아서 잘 모르겠지만, 현대 미국영어로 번역된 것은 확실한 듯.
원문에는 민족을 "그"라고 부르고 있지만, 번역에서는 모두 they로 번역하고 있다. 문맥을 이해해서 적절한 단어를 쓰는 이런 능력은 일반 번역기에서는 기대할 수 없다. 챗GPT의 번역을 이 글의 끝에 붙인 구글번역과 비교하면 엄청난 수준 차이를 실감하게 된다.

표기법을 보면 남부 사투리로 제대로 바뀐 듯. 역시 정확한 판단은 마크 트웨인 전문가가 할 수 있겠지만.
4. 세익스피어 스타일로 번역하기

소설이 아닌 시로 번역을 시켜보았다. 프로파일을 선택해주는 것이 번역의 질에 큰 영향을 준다.
아예 각운을 맞춘 세익스피어 풍의 시로 번역했다. 상당히 인상적이다.
