I was just passing by and decided to slip into a building. It turned out to be an art gallery.
I was going to explore further, but the entrance fee was 5,000 tugriks, so I just stayed where I could look for free.
The lines reminded me of Kandinsky, full of rhythm. Since the paintings were done on silk rather than canvas and hung in the air, they had a three-dimensional feel. The space felt light and airy, with these playful and swaying pieces bringing an energetic vibe.
The works, which could be used like mobiles on the walls, had a certain charm. Maybe it was the spontaneity of the encounter, but they stirred the senses of someone like me who easily finds happiness in little things.
Although I couldn’t take the bus to explore Zaisan as planned—no buses showed up and I couldn’t catch a taxi—it all worked out for the best.
