44번 학교에서 한국어 교육 활동을 하고 있다.

새해를 맞아 한복을 입고 갔다:)

얼마 전 사수님께 배운 12간지와 오행원리를 몽골학생들에게 알려주었다. 몽골에서도 12간지 개념을 사용한다고.

동물이름, 4계절, 5엘리먼트를 하나 하나 몽골어와 한국어로 크게 읽으면서, 자기의 띠를 찾고, 엄마의 띠를 찾고, 각 띠가 갖고 있는 오행의 성질로 각 띠들이 담고 있는 기운을 알려주는 중:)

몽골 학생들은 재밌어하며 각 동물의 이름을 내게 몽골어로도 알려주었다.

호랑이는 바르(르르)

용은 로

토끼는 토래

돼지는 사가이

나도 재밌다:)

언제나 감사하게 도와주시는 오카선생님의 조언도 감사하다.

“선생님, 몇몇 아이들은 어려워하니 한국어교재를 참고해서 아이들을 가르쳐주세요. 영어설명보다는 쉬운 한국어 설명을 더 많이 해주세요.”

사진은 오카선생님께서 담아주신 수업시간 현장. 다음시간부터는 한국어교재 내용도 꽉꽉 참고해 몽골학생들의 한글실력을 늘릴 예정이다.

Yesterday’s Korean Class

To celebrate the New Year, I wore a hanbok.

I taught the Mongolian students the 12 zodiac animals (ganji) and the principles of the five elements (ohaeng) that I recently learned from my mentor. Interestingly, Mongolia also has the concept of the 12 zodiac animals.

We read out the names of animals, the four seasons, and the five elements loudly in both Korean and Mongolian. The students found their zodiac animal, their mom’s zodiac animal, and learned about the energy associated with each animal’s elemental nature.

The Mongolian students were enthusiastic and taught me the names of the animals in Mongolian:

• Tiger: Bar (Baar)

• Dragon: Lo

• Rabbit: Tore

• Pig: Sagaa

It was fun for me too.

I’m also grateful for the advice from my teacher, Ms. Oka, who always supports me.

“Teacher, some students may find it difficult, so please use Korean textbooks as a reference to teach them. Focus more on simple Korean explanations rather than English ones.”

The photo is a snapshot of the class, taken by Ms. Oka. Starting from the next class, I plan to incorporate more Korean textbook content to help improve the students’ Korean skills!
