Di-rect 는 1999년 결성된 네덜란드의 밴드다.

네덜란드 밴드지만, 노래를 영어로 부르며, 주요 장르는 팝/얼터너티브 록이다. 

How my heart was won은 2023년 발표된 곡이다. 내 기준 숨겨진 명곡인데, 많이 알려지지 않아 늘 들을때마다 안타까운 마음이 든다. 가사가 절절하게 한마디 한마디 시를 쓰듯 정말 아름답고, 멜로디도 어디선가 들리면 멈춰서 끝까지 다 듣고 싶게 만든다. 그리고 리드 싱어의 노래를 부르는 느낌이 너무 멋있다. 오래 호흡을 맞춘 밴드의 클라스가 남달라, 무대에서의 퍼포먼스도 매우 훌륭하다.
