빛은 자신이 세상에서 가장 빠르다고 생각한다. 그러나 그것은 틀렸다. 아무리 빛이 빨리 간다고 해도 그곳엔 이미 도착하여 빛을 기다리고 있는 어두움이 있다. 자신이 일으킨 물결이 이 세상에서 사라질 때까지는 그 어느 누구도 실제로 죽은 것은 아니다. ... 지혜는 경험으로부터 온다. 경험은 종종 지혜가 부족한 결과일 뿐이다.
