Chuck Palahniuk: The Goal Isn't To Live Forever
When we don't know who to hate, we hate ourselves. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You're the same decaying organic matter as everything else. We all die. The goal isn't to live forever. The goal is to create something that will. Find out what you're afraid of and go live there. I don't want to die without any scars.
