I have realized that fighting for women's rights has too often become synonymous with man-hating. If there is one thing I know for certain, it is that this has to stop. Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive. Both men and women should feel free to be strong. It is time that we all perceive gender on a spectrum not as two opposing sets of ideals.

여성의 권리를 위한 싸움이 너무도 흔히 남성혐오와 동의어가 된다는 것을 깨닫게 되었다. 그러나 내가 확실히 아는 한 가지 사실은 이것이 끝나야 한다는 것이다. 남녀 모두 민감하게 느낄 자유가 있어야 한다. 남녀 모두 강하게 느낄 자유가 있어야 한다. 이제는 우리 모두가 성을 두 개의 반대되는 이상이 아닌 하나의 스펙트럼으로 인식할 때이다.
