언젠가는 우리 마을에도 기차가 들어오겠지요

Signora, between Austria and Italy, there is a section of the Alps called the Semmering. It is an impossibly steep, very high part of the mountains. They built a train track over these Alps to connect Vienna and Venice. They built these tracks even before there was a train in existence that could make the trip. They built it because they knew some day, the train would come.

부인, 오스트리아와 이탈리아 사이 알프스 지역에 세머링이라는 곳이 있습니다. 경사가 아주 가파른 산 높은 곳인데 사람들이 거기에다 비엔나와 베니스를 잇는 철도를 만들었지요. 기차가 다니기도 훨씬 전에 철도부터 만든 거예요. 언젠가는 기차가 들어오리라는 걸 알았기 때문이지요.
