창조하는 것보다 파괴하는 것이 언제나 더 어렵다

I write because it gives me the greatest possible artistic pleasure to write. If my work pleases the few, I am gratified. If it does not, it causes me no pain. ✦ It is always more difficult to destroy than to create and when what one has to destroy is vulgarity and stupidity, the task of destruction needs not merely courage but also contempt.
