The popularity of the poem will be largely increased by the author’s painful death by starvation. The public love poets to die in that way. It seems to them dramatically right. Perhaps it is. ✦ He lives the poetry that he cannot write. The others write the poetry that they dare not realize.
시의 인기는 시인이 고통스럽게 굶어죽을 때 크게 높아질 것이다. 대중은 시인들이 그런 식으로 죽는 것을 사랑한다. 대중들에게는 그런 드라마틱한 죽음이 옳은 것처럼 보이기 때문이다. 어쩌면 그럴지도 모른다.✦ 그는 자신이 쓸 수 없는 시의 삶을 살고 있다. 다른 사람들은 자신들이 감히 실현하지 못하는 것을 시로 쓰고 있다.
