미움 받는 오리, 보우의 대반전 스토리

오리들은 마당에서 저들끼리 웃고 뛰어 노느라 여념이 없었지요.

"보우야~!"

아기 오리들이 병아리들과 마당에서 달리기 시합을 하고 있을 때,

먹을 것을 좋아하는 돼지, 파이가 보우를 불렀어요.

"왜요? 파이 삼촌"

보우가 대답했어요.

"이거 내가 아끼는 진흙으로 만든 파이인데,

이 안에 네가 좋아하는 벌레들이 가득 들어있단다.

가져가서 너만 먹으렴."

"이걸 왜 저한테..?"

"너는 특별한 깃털을 가졌잖니.

너를 보기만 해도 무척 기분이 좋아져서 삼촌이 선물로 주는거야."

"고맙습니다. 삼촌."

이런 호의는 보우에게 매일 일어나는 일이었어요.

항상 뺏기기 싫어하는 닭 아저씨도 보우에게는 지렁이를 나눠주었고,

주피터 말 아저씨는 자기 먹을 당근을 자꾸 갖다줘서 곤란하기도 했어요.

" 보우는 정말 특별해.

깃털에서 뿜어져 나오는 저 빛 좀 봐.

내 세 살 평생 저런 빛은 정말 처음이야.

목소리를 또 어떻고 저렇게 똑바른 소리로

삐.약.을 발음하는 아기 오리를 본 적이 없어."

라우센 농장의 모든 동물들은 이제 보우를 좋아하고 귀하게 여겼어요."

The ducks were busy laughing and running around in the yard.

"Bow!"

When the baby ducks were running in the yard with the chicks,

a pig named Pie who likes to eat called Bow.

"Why? Uncle Pi".

Bow replied.

"This is a pie made of mud that I cherish, and it's full of bugs you like. Take it and eat it alone."
