[8탄] 지렁이 섬

보우와 친구들의 특별한 여행기

"보우, 오늘 지렁이 섬에 가기로 한 거 잊지 않았지?"

회노랑이가 말했어요. 여섯 남매는 항상 같이 였기 때문에

이 질문은 오늘 할 일에 대한 상기일 뿐 보우의 허락을 얻으려는 것이 아니었어요.

지렁이 섬은 길쭉하게 생기고 풀이 무성한 섬인데 라우센 농장의 호수 건너편에 있었어요.

아기 오리들이 헤엄을 다 배우면 아빠 오리가 가도 된다고 허락한 곳이기도 했어요.

지렁이 섬은 진흙이 많아서 지렁이가 드글드글하다고 전해져 오는 곳으로

오리들에게는 보물섬과 같은 곳이었어요.

"다녀오겠습니다"

오리 여섯 남매는 경쾌한 인사를 하고 줄지어 호숫가로 향하며

노랑이가 만든 '오리는 할 수 있다.'라는 노래를 소리 높여 불렀어요.

마지막에 '수를 지켜 꽥, 꽥꽥, 꽥꽥꽥' 이란 부분을 제일 좋아해서 수십 번을 꽥을 반복했어요.

소리를 질러 목이 아플 때쯤에 지렁이 섬에 도착할 수 있었어요.

지렁이 섬은 조용하고 풀이 무성해 낯선 느낌이었지만, 생각대로 바닥은 진흙으로 뒤덮여있었어요.

마침 간밤에 내린 비에 알맞게 미끄덩한 진흙이 풀숲 사이로 이어져있었어요.

그 사이로 지렁이와 벌레들이 꼬물거리고 있는 것이 보였지요.

"우와아!!! 정말 보물섬이었어."

아기 오리들은 신이 나서 진흙탕으로 걸어가며 벌레를 잡기에 여념이 없었어요.

"Bow, you didn't forget to go to Worm Island today, did you?""

said Hoengrang. Six siblings were always together.

This question was just a reminder of what to do today, not to get Bow's permission.

Worm Island is a elongated and grassy island that was across the lake from Rausen Farm.

It was also a place where dad ducks allowed them to go when they finished learning how to swim.

Worm Island has a lot of mud, so it is said that the earthworms are thick.

It was like a treasure island for ducks.

"I'll be back"."

The six ducks greeted each other cheerfully and lined up to the lake.

I sang the song "Duck Can Do It" made by Yellow loudly.

At the end, I liked the part "Quack, quack, quack, quack" the most, so I repeated quack dozens of times.

I was able to arrive at the island by the time my throat hurt by screaming.

The worm island was quiet and grassy, so it felt unfamiliar,

but as I thought, the floor was covered with mud.

Just in time, the slippery mud was connected through the grass to suit the rain last night.

In the meantime, I could see worms and bugs wriggling.

"Wow! It was really a treasure island."

The baby ducks were excited and were busy catching bugs while walking in the mud.
