There was a last brunch with dad and my brotherat the Japanese restaurant.
This time I tried express train to the airport. It was faster, cheaper, and roomy than airport limousine. Furthermore I got a 15% off because my carrier was Korean Air.
The 2nd terminal was built recently as an extension project of the airport. The new terminal was dedicated only to local carriers like Korean Air or Asiana and it was hugy and luxurious. I felt like I was in luxury department store.
I found some people were following a robot. Mayby they asked the robot how to get to the ckeck-in counter of their airline. It's fun to see.
Jim's favorite AMG was on display in the middle of floor.
I was so impressed by the artwork hanging in the ceiling. It was composed of such many light bulbs shaped after Korean characters(alphabets). Awesome!!
Taking off!
It wasn't a full flight and I even got my row of 3 seats empty for 8 and half hours of flight. And the service of Korean Air was one of the best as always. :p
Landing in Vancouver even one hour earlier than scheduled!!
However, believe it or not, I had an another flight cancellation of Air Canada for connection to Regina from Vancouver. I had to wait almost 9 hours at the gate and finally landed in my home town at 2:30 in the morning. And of course I needed to drive down 3 and half hours to get home. What a journey for an old man..
