Alexander hesitated.

The staff kindly told him. This was what he had anticipated.
"What is the quickest option for a flight?"
"There are few seats left on a flight departing 2 weeks from today. Unfortunately, we don't have many direct flights to your destination from this airport."
"TWO weeks?"
Two weeks. It was such a short time to wait for a long journey, but to him it felt like an eternity. But he had no choice but to book it. He turned back. He'd need to find new accommodations until then. It wasn’t too crowded in this airport; a once small hub that had since expanded to international travel. He easily found a long, empty bench near the lobby. He pulled out his phone, opened his web browser, and searched for nearby hotels.
