On patience

 Patience is a byproduct of growth. We can bide our time when it is the time of our growth. There is no patience in acquisition or in the pursuit of power and fame. Nothing is so impatient as the pursuit of a substitute for growth.

 People do not believe that they have a capacity to grow over the lifetime. While making an immense list of trivial things to complete quickly, they fail to establish a lifelong goal to pursue slowly. The absence of that mission prevents to gauge the extent of their progress made by a day. It emasculates the difference between memories from the yesterday and today, causing people lose awareness of their own growth. That is why people feel miserable when it becomes a situation that they must put up with. Yet, those who are with own mission are always attentive to their own growth and forget the feeling of patience itself.
