Dropped by at S’s early in the morning before going to the office - felt like it’d been a long time, then realised it’d been just six days. How delusive the sense of time can be depending on your emotions. And it feels good to have such emotions.
Terrible headache after work for two days in a row. Accompanying nausea got worse in the subway and had to take paracetamol & sleep for about an hour right after getting home. Stress? Peter Zumthor’s Dear to Me arrived: read the first conversation with Marcel Beyer whom he apparently reads often. Cursory and theatrical was the first impression. A few attempts to draw a comparison between writing/reading and the things an architect does (I intentionally avoid writing ‘designing a building’) but there is really nothing meaningful said. Most of the responses from PZ are very much cliché.
