사람으로 인해 나의영혼이 외롭고 곤고한 자를 위한 말씀

시편 35편

10. 내 모든 뼈가 이르기를 여호와와 같은 이가 누구냐 그는 가난한 자를 그보다 강한 자에게서 건지시고 가난하고 궁핍한 자를 노략하는 자에게서 건지시는 이라 하리로다

My whole being will exclaim,

“Who is like you, LORD?

You rescue the poor from those too strong for them,

the poor and needy from those who rob them.”

11. 불의한 증인들이 일어나서 내가 알지 못하는 일로 내게 질문하며

Ruthless witnesses come forward;

they question me on things I know nothing about.

12. 내게 선을 악으로 갚아 나의 영혼을 외롭게 하나

They repay me evil for good

and leave me like one bereaved.

13. 나는 그들이 병 들었을 때에 굵은 베 옷을 입으며 금식하여 내 영혼을 괴롭게 하였더니 내 기도가 내 품으로 돌아왔도다

Yet when they were ill, I put on sackcloth

and humbled myself with fasting.

When my prayers returned to me unanswered,

14. 내가 나의 친구와 형제에게 행함 같이 그들에게 행하였으며 내가 몸을 굽히고 슬퍼하기를 어머니를 곡함 같이 하였도다

I went about mourning

as though for my friend or brother.

I bowed my head in grief

as though weeping for my mother.

15. 그러나 내가 넘어지매 그들이 기뻐하여 서로 모임이여 불량배가 내가 알지 못하는 중에 모여서 나를 치며 찢기를 마지아니하도다

But when I stumbled, they gathered in glee;

assailants gathered against me without my knowledge.

They slandered me without ceasing.

16. 그들은 연회에서 망령되이 조롱하는 자 같이 나를 향하여 그들의 이를 갈도다

Like the ungodly they maliciously mocked;

they gnashed their teeth at me.

17. 주여 어느 때까지 관망하시려 하나이까 내 영혼을 저 멸망자에게서 구원하시며 내 유일한 것을 사자들에게서 건지소서

How long, Lord, will you look on?

Rescue me from their ravages,

my precious life from these lions.
