하나님이 바람을 땅 위에 불게 하시매 물이 줄어들었고

개역개정 창세기 8장

1. 하나님이 노아와 그와 함께 방주에 있는 모든 들짐승과 가축을 기억하사 하나님이 바람을 땅 위에 불게 하시매 물이 줄어들었고

But God remembered Noah and all the animals and all the livestock that were with him in the ark; and God caused a wind to pass over the earth, and the water subsided.

2. 깊음의 샘과 하늘의 창문이 닫히고 하늘에서 비가 그치매

Also the fountains of the deep and the floodgates of the sky were closed, and the rain from the sky was restrained;

3. 물이 땅에서 물러가고 점점 물러가서 백오십 일 후에 줄어들고

and the water receded steadily from the earth, and at the end of 150 days the water decreased.

4. 일곱째 달 곧 그 달 열이렛날에 방주가 아라랏 산에 머물렀으며

Then in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark rested upon the mountains of Ararat.

5. 물이 점점 줄어들어 열째 달 곧 그 달 초하룻날에 산들의 봉우리가 보였더라

And the water decreased steadily until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains became visible.

6. ○사십 일을 지나서 노아가 그 방주에 낸 창문을 열고

Then it came about at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made;

7. 까마귀를 내놓으매 까마귀가 물이 땅에서 마르기까지 날아 왕래하였더라

and he sent out a raven, and it flew here and there until the water was dried up from the earth.

8. 그가 또 비둘기를 내놓아 지면에서 물이 줄어들었는지를 알고자 하매

Then he sent out a dove, to see if the water was low on the surface of the land;

9. 온 지면에 물이 있으므로 비둘기가 발 붙일 곳을 찾지 못하고 방주로 돌아와 그에게로 오는지라 그가 손을 내밀어 방주 안 자기에게로 받아들이고

but the dove found no resting place for the sole of its foot, so it returned to him in the ark, for the water was on the surface of all the earth. Then he put out his hand and took it, and brought it into the ark to himself.

10. 또 칠 일을 기다려 다시 비둘기를 방주에서 내놓으매

So he waited another seven days longer; and again he sent out the dove from the ark.

11. 저녁때에 비둘기가 그에게로 돌아왔는데 그 입에 감람나무 새 잎사귀가 있는지라 이에 노아가 땅에 물이 줄어든 줄을 알았으며

And the dove came to him in the evening, and behold, in its beak was a fresh olive leaf. So Noah knew that the water was low on the earth.

12. 또 칠 일을 기다려 비둘기를 내놓으매 다시는 그에게로 돌아오지 아니하였더라

Then he waited another seven days longer, and sent out the dove; but it did not return to him again.

13. ○육백일 년 첫째 달 곧 그 달 초하룻날에 땅 위에서 물이 걷힌지라 노아가 방주 뚜껑을 제치고 본즉 지면에서 물이 걷혔더니

Now it came about in the six hundred and first year, in the first month, on the first of the month, that the water was dried up from the earth. Then Noah removed the covering of the ark, and looked, and behold, the surface of the ground had dried up.

14. 둘째 달 스무이렛날에 땅이 말랐더라

And in the second month, on the twenty-seventh day of the month, the earth was dry.

15. 하나님이 노아에게 말씀하여 이르시되

Then God spoke to Noah, saying,

16. 너는 네 아내와 네 아들들과 네 며느리들과 함께 방주에서 나오고

“Go out of the ark, you and your wife and your sons and your sons’ wives with you.

17. 너와 함께 한 모든 혈육 있는 생물 곧 새와 가축과 땅에 기는 모든 것을 다 이끌어내라 이것들이 땅에서 생육하고 땅에서 번성하리라 하시매

Bring out with you every living thing of all flesh that is with you, birds and animals and every crawling thing that crawls on the earth, that they may breed abundantly on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth.”
