New Standards in the AI Era.

The Path SUGOLAB Chose in the Age of AI

by 한수고

AI is already reshaping our daily lives and industries—quietly, but undeniably.
This shift is not just about the addition of new technology.

It is a deeper transition that asks us to rethink how we work and how we grow.

Companies today find it increasingly difficult to invest time in nurturing entry-level talent.

They seek people who can deliver results immediately, and the gaps are quickly filled by AI and automation.

In this environment, many young people are pushed out of competition before they even have a chance to learn real-world skills.

This is where SUGOLAB began with a simple question:

Is waiting for employment really the best option? Or is there another way to prove oneself—directly in the market?

Our answer is clear.
The fastest and most realistic path to growth today is entrepreneurship.

What Kind of Organization Is SUGOLAB?

SUGOLAB works with technology, but we do not speak about technology alone.

We are a team that explores how to connect technology with human values to create sustainable, long-term outcomes.

Rather than chasing short-term results, we focus on defining standards, culture, and responsibility— because these are what truly sustain an organization over time.

In the age of AI, survival does not belong to those who know the most tools, but to those who can continue learning and growing based on their own principles and judgment.

That is why SUGOLAB chose to become an organization that designs both how we work and who we become.

The Kind of Talent We Believe in for the AI Era.

At SUGOLAB, an AI-era talent is not someone with a flashy résumé.

It is someone who can:

build quickly

validate early

face failure honestly

and try again without hesitation

We define this mindset through five core profiles:

1) Speed Experimenter
: Someone who values validation over ideas.

2) Lean Developer
: Someone who uses AI to reduce time and cost while delivering real outcomes.

3) Lean Cycle Analyst
: Someone who understands hypothesis → experiment → measurement → iteration through practice.

4) AI-Collaborative Creator
: Someone who treats AI not as a tool, but as a working partner.

5) Practical Entrepreneur
: Someone who identifies problems before customers articulate them—and solves them with technology.

What we aim to nurture are not “spec-driven” talents, but Developers and Creators who grow through experimentation with AI.

“Education Is Always a Delicate Matter”

As a founder, I am careful about calling myself an educator.

I believe that ownership-based autonomy and ethical responsibility are among the most important qualities a person can develop.

That is why SUGOLAB’s education is not about protection.
It is about creating a structure where individuals learn to take responsibility for themselves.

Life in one’s twenties is never simple.

Taxes, fixed costs, relationships, organizations, failures— only by passing through these realities does one begin to develop a personal language and true expertise.

SUGOLAB does not promise “comfortable growth.”
Instead, we choose to walk through honest hardship together.

“Very few people make big money honestly in their twenties. What they can truly build at that age is expertise.”

That is the goal I hold clearly in mind. Expertise more valuable than a Porsche.

SUGOLAB’s Mission & Operating Principles.

These beliefs naturally shape how we operate as an organization.

1. We become leaders who uphold standards

Kindness without standards does not last. Each of us is responsible for setting and protecting our own principles.

2. Protecting sincerity is the responsibility of adults
Change should never be about following trends—it should be a choice made to protect what truly matters.

3. The purpose of business is to create hope
Beyond revenue, we exist to expand human possibility.

4. Order begins with service
Results without respect are meaningless.
Attitude defines the dignity of an organization.

5. Reporting is the foundation, self-reflection drives growth

We value reflection over command, and growth over control.

6. An organization is a community of responsibility
We choose to move forward with people who can create roles, outcomes, and accountability.

Difficult, But We are strong.

In an era where fewer spaces are left for young people, this is what SUGOLAB wants to say:

It’s okay to collide with the world. You won’t have to endure that process alone.

Difficult, but resilient growth.

That is the talent philosophy of SUGOLAB in the AI era, and the reason we continue this work.
