18. 보라 나의 택한 종 곧 내 마음에 기뻐하는바 나의 사랑하는 자로다 내가 내 성령을 줄터이니 그가 심판을 이방에 알게 하리라
18. “Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.
19. 그가 다투지도 아니하며 들레지도 아니하리니 아무도 길에서 그 소리를 듣지 못하리라
19. He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets.
20. 상한 갈대를 꺾지 아니하며 꺼져가는 심지를 끄지 아니하기를 심판하여 이길 때까지 하리니
20. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory.
21. 또한 이방들이 그 이름을 바라리라 함을 이루려 하심이니라
21. In his name the nations will put their hope.”
In this wicked generation, Jesus became the only hope as He brought hope of salvation and justice to all nations. He didn't quarrel or cry out, being patient, until He leads justice on the cross, because He knew that the time of victory was around the corner.
Here is my servant whom I have chosen, the one I live, in whom I delight. I will put my Spirit on Him, and he will proclaim justice to the nations.
This message and the prophesy is amazing and it is surely commenting on Jesus and His role. However, I hope that this message could be applied to all His children and we live the lives of justice, proclaiming it and giving hope to all nations.
Many people tend to live without any hope for lives, so they are easily hooked on the evil and futile things and desires, suffering from them as well.
As a result, Jesus, the name, is the only hope that I'd like to announce to the others and I need the Spirit of power and wisdom for that. I pray in Jesus' name that I could do complete my mission of leading justice to victory in my life, by ruling over sins, amen.
