9. 사람의 계명으로 교훈을 삼아 가르치니 나를 헛되이 경배하는도다 하였느니라 하시고
9. They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’ ”
18. 입에서 나오는 것들은 마음에서 나오나니 이것이야말로 사람을 더럽게 하느니라
18. But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them.
19. 마음에서 나오는 것은 악한 생각과 살인과 간음과 음란과 도적질과 거짓 증거와 훼방이니
19. For out of the heart come evil thoughts—murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander.
20. 이런 것들이 사람을 더럽게 하는 것이요 씻지 않은 손으로 먹는 것은 사람을 더럽게 하지 못하느니라
20. These are what defile a person; but eating with unwashed hands does not defile them.”
Human rules and Father's rules are totally different, though they look similar in appearance. Heavenly ones are good and righteous, but human ones are seemingly good and righteous, but they don't lead us to the point of the truth and the life at all. They just mislead people to the point of the darkness and death, in the name of tradition.
How many bad traditions we have and we, as believers or Christians, follow them, misleading blind people (Non-believers) to the pit of darkness and dispar, as well as we also go into the pit like a blind man? Even though I live in a city as a Korean on this earth, but I should always keep it in mind that I am a citizen of Heavely kingdom, and I should follow the rules of Heaven. Otherwise, I will defile His name, worshipping Him in vain, and I wouldn't be allowed to it, when I will eagerly try to enter into it.
The first and foremost rule of Heaven or Father is loving God with my heart, mind, and my strength. Second is loving my neighbors, even my enemies. Both look very nonsense and foolish in the point of view of human rules, but they are true and perfect ones, so if I want to live a life of truth and a blissful life, I should try to keep them all.
Then how can I keep them all without breaking any rules? I think that it is impossible for me, who has sinful nature, to do, but my Gracious Father who knows me very well,
sent me a helper, the Holy Spirit, so I am willing to obediently and faithfully follow them all, though I fail and break it very often.
Father, I appreciate for Your being my King and giving me a citizenship of Heaven without any conditions. Let me learn and keep all the Heavely rules pleasantly and obediently. As the result of it, let me lead more blind people to the path of light, the truth, and the eternal life, I pray the precious name, Jesus, amen.
