마태복음(Mat) 26장

11. 가난한 자들은 항상 너희와 함께 있거니와 나는 항상 함께 있지 아니하리라

11. The poor you will always have with you, but you will not always have me.

12. 이 여자가 내 몸에 이 향유를 부은 것은 내 장사를 위하여 함이니라

12. When she poured this perfume on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.

13. 내가 진실로 너희에게 이르노니 온 천하에 어디서든지 이 복음이 전파되는 곳에는 이 여자의 행한 일도 말하여 저를 기념하리라 하시니라

13. Truly I tell you, wherever this gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her.”

I was curious about this ceremony-like pouring perfumes on Jesus' head, which is called anointing. 

Why did Jesus praise her for wasting her money for His burial? I am not sure of her knowing it or not, but she must have spent her big money pleasantly and willingly, which could have been shown 'wasted' to Jesus' deciples' view. 

And I have been thinking that there would be a time for me to pour this kind of expensive and extravagant perfume (돈) for the poor and for His sake, because I have not done it until now.

Jesus is the most high priest in the order of Melchizedek, who was the king of righteousness and peace Himself, and He became the little lamb of sacrifice, in a word, a ransom for all mankind. Therefore, this anointing of oil symbolizes Jesus' becoming a genuine high priest, totally different from the anointed high priests who had to purify themselves through animals' blood again and again every once a year.

I think that the view point and the perspective of the world and God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, the trinity, affects our lives on earth and in Heaven. What I value the most in life is very important and it could be material things that easily go bad or spiritual ones that keep fresh and eternal.
