민수기(Num) 26장

33. 헤벨의 아들 슬로브핫은 아들이 없고 딸뿐이라 그 딸의 이름은 말라와 노아와 호글라와 밀가와 디르사니

33. (Zelophehad son of Hepher had no sons; he had only daughters, whose names were Mahlah, Noah, Hoglah, Milkah and Tirzah.)

민수기(Num) 27장

5. 모세가 그 사연을 여호와께 아뢰니라

5. So Moses brought their case before the LORD,

6. 여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되

6. and the LORD said to him,

7. 슬로브핫 딸들의 말이 옳으니 너는 반드시 그들의 아버지의 형제 중에서 그들에게 기업을 주어 받게 하되 그들의 아버지의 기업을 그들에게 돌릴지니라

7. “What Zelophehad’s daughters are saying is right. You must certainly give them property as an inheritance among their father’s relatives and give their father’s inheritance to them.

11. 그의 아버지의 형제도 없으면 그의 기업을 가장 가까운 친족에게 주어 받게 할지니라 하고 나 여호와가 너 모세에게 명령한 대로 이스라엘 자손에게 판결의 규례가 되게 할지니라

11. If his father had no brothers, give his inheritance to the nearest relative in his clan, that he may possess it. This is to have the force of law for the Israelites, as the LORD commanded Moses.’ ”

Moses brought every cases before the Lord and asked about how to deal with those problems and he did as He said to him. This inheritance case could have been tough for Moses to deal with, but the Lord solved it very simply and clearly, which became the legal requirement for both the Isralites and almost all mankinds. This is very intersting and i think that this case is actually one part of the 10 commandments of God, which became the source of modern laws.

I have been struggling to solve any problems, but I  got yo know that I couldn't do it, so I brought it before the LORD, so I am waiting to hear the answers from Him. I hope that I would obey Him whatever He says to me as Moses did.
