39. 너희가 이 절기를 당하거든 여호와께 이같이 드릴지니 이는 너희의 서원제나 낙헌제로 드리는 번제, 소제, 전제, 화목제 외에 드릴 것이니라
39. “ ‘In addition to what you vow and your freewill offerings, offer these to the LORD at your appointed festivals: your burnt offerings, grain offerings, drink offerings and fellowship offerings.’ ”
40. 모세가 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 모든 일을 이스라엘 자손에게 말하니라
40. Moses told the Israelites all that the LORD commanded him.
How could they give these kinds of offerings to God? These all things must have been raised and prepared for these feasts. If not, it was not possible to give God, though it was a duty or commands of God. In other word, it sounds unfair and too much to give all of them, but in the way that it all came from Him, He deserved to get them all.
Above all, He seemed to tell us indirectly how much sacrifices are necessary for atonement of our sins, and how much grace of God has sustained us to live abauntly. The point is that without Him, I couldn't have lived a day and everything that I owe is God's as they are all from Him.
Father, let me remember that everything is from You, and all natures and surroundings, including my body and life, are from You. I am so grateful that I want to praise Your name and honor You.
