10. Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.
14. 오직 주 예수 그리스도로 옷 입고 정욕을 위하여 육신의 일을 도모하지 말라
14. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the flesh.
Our sinful nature itself belongs to darkness, so I need to wear the armor of light, the Lord, Jesus Christ.
The first thing I should do is putting aside the deeds of darkness, which is what the 10 commandments warns us not to do: Committing murdering, stealing, coveting, etc. Plus, all kinds of behaviors, such as drunkenness, sexual immorality, debauchery(방탕), dissension(불화) and jealousy are all the deeds of darkness. The problem is that humans' sinful desires pursuit these things and have a tendency of gratifying them all or even one of them.
Now that I know of it well, then what should I do to avoid them all? The solution looks so simple, but it is not that easy to do it. That is submitting myself to the Lord, Jesus Christ, and loving my neighbors as myself because love does no harm to my neighbors and it is the fulfillment of the law (10).
It sounds ver hard to do, but I believe that it is the only solution for me to get rid of the deeds of darkness and get freed from sinful nature, which makes me a servant of sins, leading my life to the point of distress and agonies.
The easiest way of loving neighbors is sharing food. I have been thinking of sharing some vegetables and fruits with my neighbors, so I'm going to do it on this weekend and I am very thankful to God for putting me in this circumstance as well, prasing Lord.
