로마서(Rom) 12장

19. 내 사랑하는 자들아 너희가 친히 원수를 갚지 말고 하나님의 진노하심에 맡기라 기록되었으되 원수 갚는 것이 내게 있으니 내가 갚으리라고 주께서 말씀하시니라

19. Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.

20. 네 원수가 주리거든 먹이고 목마르거든 마시게 하라 그리함으로 네가 숯불을 그 머리에 쌓아 놓으리라

20. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

21. 악에게 지지 말고 선으로 악을 이기라

21. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

What a wonderful and smart strategy of God who always makes good judgment for everyone! So what I need is just waiting and doing my work: Loving and showing hospitality with mercy and favor.

However, I easily and quickly tend to get angry, pretending to be a righteous man, whenever I see something or face someone who is evil-looking men or unjust behaviors or attitudes. This attitude comes from my sinful nature that is deepest in my heart, by forgetting the fact that my sins were forgiven by Him, who is generous and merciful.

Like the servant whose debts were cleared off by his owner forced his neighbor who had owed him a little bit of money to repay the debt. I know this parable well, but i oftentimes forget it, so I can tell that i am like the man who was foolish and evil.

Father, forgive my sins and let me stop judging others, rather have mercy on them and do keep showing love, by sharing gospel and food as well.
