로마서(Rom) 15장

1. We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves.

2. Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up.

3. For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.”

People highly recommend that we'd better live our days and make ourselves happy like the motto of 'Amor Fati, which means love your fate, or Carpe diem, which means enjoy this day called today. People even quote Solomon's Ecclesiastes (전도서), in which he was proclaiming, "Everything, such, wealth, wisdom, and even pleasures are utterly meaningless, meaningless and meaningless!" even after trying to do everything he thought that would be good for him during his lifetime.

This is the end result of people saying, like enjoy your days, just by caring and pleasing only yourselves because life is short.

Is this real true? It sounds like senses, but it was not what Solomon emphasized, who was called the wisest and wealthiest man in the world or in those days. What he was trying to say was this: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.

At the last chapter of Ecc. 12:13

12:13. Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.
