10. 여호와께서 이 백성에 대하여 이와 같이 말씀하시되 그들이 어그러진 길을 사랑하여 그들의 발을 멈추지 아니하므로 여호와께서 그들을 받지 아니하고 이제 그들의 죄를 기억하시고 그 죄를 벌하시리라 하시고
10. This is what the LORD says about this people: “They greatly love to wander; they do not restrain their feet. So the LORD does not accept them; he will now remember their wickedness and punish them for their sins.”
11. 여호와께서 또 내게 이르시되 너는 이 백성을 위하여 복을 구하지 말라
11. Then the LORD said to me, “Do not pray for the well-being of this people.
12. 그들이 금식할지라도 내가 그 부르짖음을 듣지 아니하겠고 번제와 소제를 드릴지라도 내가 그것을 받지 아니할 뿐 아니라 칼과 기근과 전염병으로 내가 그들을 멸하리라
12. Although they fast, I will not listen to their cry; though they offer burnt offerings and grain offerings, I will not accept them. Instead, I will destroy them with the sword, famine and plague.”
We all want 'well-being' and our generous God surely wants us to live well on earth because He made this universe wonderfully and perfectly for humans and He filled it abundantly without any lack.
However, many kinds of plague-like drought, fire, and famines are happening around the world on a daily basis, so many are suffering from them.
What is the cause of it? It is the sins and the obedience of humans who are opposing against Him and not being obedient to His Words. Accordingly, these disasters have come from us, so we deserve to get pains from them. Does this make sense?
What can i do for these things to be stopped and for all humans to live well together ever happily like the end of fairy tales? Just praying doesn't seem to work as He wouldn't listen to those who are against Him.
Then, what should I do for a well-being and well- living? I think that there is only one way for it. it is returning from the places of sins and starting to live in His way, not my own way.
