Bearing His name

예레미야(Jer) 15장

16. 만군의 하나님 여호와시여 나는 주의 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 자라 내가 주의 말씀을 얻어 먹었사오니 주의 말씀은 내게 기쁨과 내 마음의 즐거움이오나

16. When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, LORD God Almighty.

19. 여호와께서 이와 같이 말씀하시되 네가 만일 돌아오면 내가 너를 다시 이끌어 내 앞에 세울 것이며 네가 만일 헛된 것을 버리고 귀한 것을 말한다면 너는 나의 입이 될 것이라 그들은 네게로 돌아오려니와 너는 그들에게로 돌아가지 말지니라

19. Therefore this is what the LORD says: “If you repent, I will restore you that you may serve me; if you utter worthy, not worthless, words, you will be my spokesman. Let this people turn to you, but you must not turn to them.

How could the Words of God be joy and hearts' delight to us? The answer I found out here in the same verse is that we should bear His name, Lord God Almighty. What does it mean? Actually, we never understand the Word of God the Bible without any help of the Holy Spirit, which seems to be given and poured without noticing, but we can feel it somehow like the gentle wind or bright sunshine, or like a flash light, etc.

One of the changes I have had was that I started reading the bible, because i was able to understand most of them intuitionally and i also feel like getting strength, power, comfort, and wisdom whenever i read it. In a word, it has become my spiritual bread with my joy and my heart's delight. If I skip it for a couple of days, I feel hungry and empty in my mind.

However, it doesn't seem  to be hidden only for my sake, but He wants me to speak it to others like a spokesman, so that people whi are hungry and thirsty could return to Him. He also seems to promise that He would make a fortified wall for me in order to save me from the hands of the wicked and deliver me from the grasp of the cruel.

Therefore, I need to darely speak what the LORD Almighty God tells me with the faith of His being with me, which is not for my sake, but His sake and also others' sake, which I believe that  is His will as well.
